Neak Kru Theresa Tha
Instructor & Principal Dancer
Neak Kru Theresa Tha began her dance journey at the age of five, initially studying the feminine role under the guidance of Neak Kru Phousita Huy. After a brief pause in her training, her passion was reignited in 2017 when she attended Angkor Dance Troupe’s production of Preah Thong and Neang Neak.
She returned to ADT as a student, transitioning into the male role and later taking on the commanding Yeak (giant) character. Her dedication, versatility, and drive have led her to become an instructor, assisting senior and master teachers in guiding students through these complex and expressive roles.
Neak Kru Theresa is deeply committed to helping young dancers grow—passing on the techniques she has learned while instilling confidence and cultural pride. Her personal goal is to master all three principal roles - female, male, and giant - and become a fully rounded classical dancer. Outside the studio, she enjoys writing, gaming, and studying traditional Cambodian instruments such as the Roneat Ek and Kluy. Through her teaching and creativity, she brings fresh energy and inspiration to ADT’s next generation.
