Lok Kru Kimhan Meas

Lok Kru Kimhan Meas is a highly respected master teacher of Khmer classical and folk dance and music, bringing over three decades of experience as a performer, educator, and cultural ambassador. A graduate of the Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh, he has dedicated his life to preserving Cambodia’s rich artistic traditions, both at home and abroad.


His career spans work as a traditional dance trainer at Cambodia’s National Fine Arts School and the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, where he shaped generations of artists. Lok Kru Kimhan also served as a musician with Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior and shared his knowledge as a drum instructor at Phnom Penh International School and a dance trainer with community organizations. He has represented Cambodia on international stages, performing and leading workshops in Vietnam, Korea, Japan, China, and beyond.


Today, Lok Kru Kimhan brings his exceptional skill and deep cultural knowledge to Angkor Dance Troupe, where he teaches classical and folk dance, music, and shadow puppetry. A patient and passionate mentor, he is committed to nurturing the next generation of artists and ensuring that Khmer performing arts continue to thrive. For Lok Kru Kimhan, every movement and every rhythm is a tribute to Cambodia’s enduring cultural heritage - a gift he is proud to pass on.
